Every year around this time, I like to slow down. I breathe a bit deeper, scroll through the galleries I've delivered, and suddenly I'm overwhelmed in the best possible way -- by how many families have invited me into their lives time and time again. Some of you, I've had the incredible pleasure of photographing your family, year after year. I walk up to our sessions knowing the personalities, the inside jokes, the family dynamics. Each time, I see the changes both tiny and enormous -- that unfolds in front of my lens. This is the kind of loyalty that humbles me. The kind that reminds me that photography isn't just a job - but it's a relationship, a connection, a privilege. And when you're celebrating your anniversary, planning for that 2nd or 3rd kid, when they go off to high school, when life shifts into its next season, deep down I know that I'll be the one you call to document it because we've built trust and we have history.
